Stuck at home but want to practice your drawing skills? Or, just want to do ANYTHING different? 

 

Life drawing, or figure drawing, is the act of drawing a living person. Normally this means drawing a nude model in real life – well, things have changed for us right now.

Why do this online? Having some structure is helpful when developing any skill. Let us walk you through the one, two, five, ten and twenty minute long posses. 

​

Join us over live video for the online version of our weekly life drawing forum with the same great models from our ongoing classes. The model will be safe in his or her own home, and you in yours, with all of us connected through a live video feed. You only need a screen, internet connection and any drawing or painting tools you desire. 

​

For over three years we have been holding these Thursday night classes at The Plaxall Gallery, and this virus is not going to stop art!

​

During the breaks, we will un-mute your microphones and you can feel free to turn on your cameras and chat with the other artists!

 

Tickets: Pay What You Can Afford ($5 suggested donation). Once you register, you will be emailed a link and password for the class.

 

Proceeds go to pay the model $30/hr, with the rest donated to the nonprofits providing covid-19 relief in LIC. Got a little more to give to the cause? Great!

The Plaxall Gallery is currently being donated as a supply drop-off for the local food pantries, along with delivery services and other relief projects.
