Submissions for Exquisite Corpse Company’s 2023 Writer’s Lab are open!

The Exquisite Corpse Company’s Writer’s Lab welcomes six new playwrights annually to work with the company. Over the course of the 8 week program, playwrights will meet weekly and generate a new one act play. Facilitated by Literary Directors Phillip Christian Smith and Blake Bishton, the Lab incorporates Culture Lab LIC’s current fine arts exhibitions as interactive writing prompts. This guided process encourages participants to create work in new ways and culminates in a reading series in June.
