New York City-based pianist Josefina Urraca is a frequent performer at venues in the United States and Europe. Josefina is a founding member and managing director of CreArtBox.
Ms. Urraca has received numerous fellowships and prizes, including the Caja Madrid Foundation Scholarship, Manhattan School of Music Scholarship, Albéniz Foundation Scholarship, and 2nd prize at the International Piano Competition Ciudad de Carlet, National Piano Competition Ciudad de Linares, and National Piano Competition Veguellina de Órbigo.
Her major teachers have been Dimitri Bashkirov, Claudio Martinez-Mehner, Eldar Nebolsin, Patrin Garcia-Barredo, Jospe Colom, Guigla Katsarava, and Kennedy Moretti .She holds degrees from Salamanca Conservatory, Alcalá de Henares University, Ecole Normale de Paris, Reina Sofia School of Music, and the Manhattan School of Music.
